The Flavour of Killorglin event takes place on Saturday 7 July in Killorglin, Co. Kerry. The Flavour event celebrates the culinary and cultural delights of Killorglin and the surrounding area, combining great food with events and entertainment for the local community and visitors alike. Local artisans and restaurateurs participating in the Flavour event will showcase the wonderful food, produce and cuisine for which the area is renowned, from crusty baked bread to locally smoked salmon and mouthwatering Kerry lamb.
The Flavour of Killorglin event is not just about great food - there will also be a range of activities designed to encourage enjoyment of everything Killorglin has to offer.
The Flavour of Killorglin event has been developed in partnership with Tourism Ireland, Bord Bia, Kerry County Council, Killorglin Tidy Towns and the Ring of Kerry Cycle.
The Flavour of Killorglin event is not just about great food - there will also be a range of activities designed to encourage enjoyment of everything Killorglin has to offer.

Flavour 2012...
Flavour 2012 will start on the morning of Saturday 7 July 2012 with a range of activities that will suit old and young alike.
The day will kick off with a Killorglin-style welcome for the Ring of Kerry cyclists at 8am. Later in the day a local walking expert will lead a guided tour of the town's heritage including the fantastic Laune Riverbank Walks. At noon children between the ages of 6 and 14 are invited to take part in our inaugural Flavour of Fun Treasure Hunt.
From 2pm exhibitors will display the best of local food and produce in street stalls and pop-up installations in the centre of Killorglin. In addition several local restaurants will showcase their expertise in a cooking demonstration, free of charge.
